Friendly servers?
Does anyone have or know of a friendly server? I've met up with nothing but bandits that have killed me. Doesn't matter if I have any loot or not. At one point, I was about to die and had literally nothing and finally found a bell pepper and began eatin it and got shot. Bandits are ruining the game for me. I understand it's a survival and it's a game so it's cool to get killed a few times. But in all the servers and all the times I've played, I've never even met up with another friendly player.

Anybody?

I really want a friendly server i can find guns on like a private but low pop

I found no friendly servers yet. The more safe servers are with low population, but still there is no guarantee you won't be killed.

Yeah, I strictly play on low pop servers. What sucks though is that most of them won't load or are messed up or night time.

It's dark and hard to see. I do like that it adds stealth, but it's dark. ._.

I joined a couple of friendly servers and in my experience most people that play there are friendly, but I had a few encounters with guys that KOS . So your best bet is playing on low pop (10-15) friendly servers and just watch out for that guy that doesn't respect the server title.

How about you increase your brightness or gamma? It's not that bad.

You should try not running up to people saying "Hi i'm steve!" If you see them first, hide. See what they're doin first. I"ve walked up on 2 people, n instead of assuming friendly i waited. One pulled a shotgun n blasted the other. Needless to say i let mr shotgun run off before i continued

I've got my video settings to where nighttime isn't that ridiculous. I never approach other players. I try hiding from them and avoiding them.

I am ashamed to say I might have killed someone. I was try to loot a police station in electro it was just me and one other person or two more on server. I was on the second floor when I heard someone opening up doors so I waited in a room I was pretty well geared and with so many ppl willing to kill each other for fun fresh spawn me having something other might want only increses the chance of being killed I didnt know what this guy would do and the small room didnt help when the person entered the room with a magnum at hand I don't think I wanted to try to talk things out first so I shot him about 2 times with my mossin, he went down but he wasn't done he returned fire hitting me and I shot back hitting him again and before the dust could clear I already fell unconcious and held onto hope thinking I might wake up but a few moments after I found out that I wouldn't and maybe the other person was in the same situation now.

Still quite new to Dayz and there is no rules of engagement on this battlefield so there is anarchy and as long as there is Dayz will bend the morales of others and my own as it is intended, but I swear I am friendly lol (really was a heat of the moment thing)

I really dont think anykind of lasting security or peace can exsist until base building and barricades are in well at least keep it lasting longer

I play on a server that has auto kick for people who are not whitelisted. KOS is not allowed on the server and i havent died in about a week because of it :) . Anybody looking to join this server and become whitelisted then contact me.

dont trust "freindly" servers if its public cause u have jerks there that will kill u knowing most want to be freinds...from what i hear u need to get on a private one and know the people in the server
