Should i use akm or sks?

Dude, SKS all the way, steady, can kill at range or upclose. Good amount of damage dealt too.

Akm, more fire power, same damage, can zero to 800m with scope, higher bullet count, full auto.

If i want to fire shots at 800m. i would chose another weapon . not the AK. so your argument in that particular matter is useless , imo. What about recoil ? sks vs akm? .. think we are done

You are comparing a semi aout to a full auto on recoil, ha, and also ive killed people at 600-700m with the akm, versatile weopon.

OP asks which weapon should he choose. im not the one comparing. Just trying to answer op.

A lot of people march for the AK's and M4's. I'm more of a Mosin guy, so it's no surprise that in lack of a Mosin, I'll go for the SKS.

Also, it's fairly easy to find SKS ammo. (As in, when you find it, you usually end up with a good supply)

Either weapon is good but I would have to go with the AKM. It can fit the superior PSO-1 scope, has a 75-round drum magazine, full auto capabilities. I'd drop my SKS if I found an AKM. Hell, I'd drop my sidearm too.

Honestly?

I don't, for the life of me, see how an SKS can be better than the AKM in any way, shape or form provided that you have at least a 30 round Magazine for the AKM.

It should be a complete no brainer.

If the SKS had a 30 round Mag, like you said, and the ability to use a PSO scope, then I would consider using it more. The problem with that then would be that it would make other Rifles, like the AK-101 redundant, and might even replace weapons like the Mosin for medium range sniping.
