It just happened to save my and my friends lives, we barricaded into a two floor building in gorka, and made a campfire to eat and get warm, we locked 4 doors, two front doors and two in the staircase.
We heard someone running in the yard, and i happened to see he had a shotgun, he started shooting trough the doors, and it made it so slow for him that he ran out of pellets. he gave up and left.
So yeah, it saves against people who dont have melee weapon, or are too lazy to go somewhere else, get a weapon good enough for breaching locked doors.
Cool, I am happy that they added a counter to it otherwise locked doors would be a pain. Thanks.
Not with the loot system that is in now. so many melee weapons to open doors with. even punches will do, axe is the best for one hitting a door open.
when loot gets more rare and the lockpick even rarer, its going to be a valuable item for group/solo survival.
Good rule of thumb is to expect everybody to kill you.
