Rain is lasting too long...

So I join a Dayz server, become cold, enter a house and it starts to rain. It's been 90 minutes and the rain hasn't stopped. Has anyone else noticed this, it's ridiculous!

Depends on the server from what I've seen. I could be wrong. Find yourself a raincoat and wellies. You won't have to worry about the rain at all then.

If you think that's bad...they're next to my eight sticks of morphine.

Yeah, if you don't have a raincoat or gorka it's hard to get along. Wouldn't mind an umbrella.

There are 2 server modes: Sunny and Rainy if the server is rainy it won't stop raining untill restart. The weather is not random at all.

The way I solve this is I find a goat and take him to the alter and sacrafice him to the gods of beans and pink running shoes! that usally stops it, if it doesn't then I dress up like a banana with my pink baseball cap :)

You can run through the rain for quite a while as long as you're in warm clothes. It only takes a few minutes to dry off and warm up again.

I've also noticed if any of your inventory items get wet you should take them out and they will dry off faster. If you leave wet clothes in your backpack they will stay damp forever.

I have a TTsko shirt and autumn hunter pants and the rain takes a long time to penetrate those layers, I believe they are sort of common. In my travels I have not found many raincoats but i may be in the minority, its all about the luck of the loot.

If you can't find what you need, just risk getting damp and in every town or so, stop in a non-traveled house, start a fire, wring out your clothes and eat something. I ran from the southwest corner or the map to cherno and my clothes were just "damp" and dried while setting next to a fire for about 3 minutes.

All you need to do is take your gear off place it on the ground then pick it up and it will be dry and your no ,onger damp........works for me.

Are you saying that on a rainy server that it is constant rain ? As I have never had that happen

It changes with every restart. When the server restarts I'ts either constantly sunny or constanly raining..

This doesn't sound right... I've been on servers that had both. I could be wrong but my understanding is that the servers are more or less "seasonal". :j
