Point of ruined clothing

So is there any minuses of wearing lets say jacket which is ruined?

Items in the ruined clothing will eventually get ruined also, Like a cancer

what they said, and the items inside the ruined clothing will take damage right away Vs the jacket tacking the first few hits..........that being said, if you are a fresh spawn, extra pockets is always a good thing till you get better loot.

I just hope clothing get alittle more robust. one or twi hits from a zombie usually complete ruin things like the Rider Jacket. And some people prefer looking cool... I sometimes like forgoing camo and just being cool.

Ruined clothing can't protect you or the contents as well.

That said, a ruined rain coat or gorka (sp?) jacket works as well as a pristine one to keep you dry.

A ruined high capacity vest has the same capacity.

Ruined clothes are better at offering camouflage.

There are some benefits. :)

A long time ago it seemed that damaged items lost a couple of it's slots, or it was just a bug that coincidentally seemed like a valid idea. It would be a nice additon to the damaged clothing and packs. IE a worn hoodie = no slot loss, damaged = 1 lost slot, badly damaged = 2 lost, and ruined = 3 of the 4 slots unusable.
