That settles it then, Ps4 but no Xbox yet. Not going to congratulate since it seems like you were flustered the whole time. At least I admitted it without being rude, who's being rude now? :)

Excuse me but honestly, klown was right and you were wrong.
And I'll explain why.
You're the one who made the blanket statement, which we see above, that it wasn't confirmed to be going to console. You made no distinction between brand or limited the comment in any way - your statemet is above. The person you responded to made no distinction between brand or limited the term in any way.
Klown correctly stated it is being ported to console and this was confirmed. He was right. And in fact he specifically mentioned PLAYSTATION in his FIRST response to you:
You simply ignored it. No one ever mentioned XBox before you did just above trying to get one up on Klown. Now you're tyring to limit your claim to Xbox. But, as we have seen, that is NOT what you originally claimed and neither was it what the person you originally responded to said.
The subject was simply consoles of no particular flavor until Klown pointed out Play Station. (Xbox is not the only console in town you know. )
It's pretty easy to make the other person look like they don't know what they are talking about by throwing around a strawmawn like that to sow confusion .. . but the truth is, you inserted the Xbox argument at the very end to make yourself look right and Klown as if he didn't know what he was talking about while conveniently ignoring that Klown was talking about the PS4 all along.
This is all much ado about nothing and entirely your making.

This game is being released using the Rising Price Model that Minecraft invented - also called the minecraft model.
In this model the the price the game is initially offered at during development is a FRACTION of what the final price will be.
During development, the price will rise incrementally until it reaches it's final price at final release.
For DayZ the final price is $50. So any price it sells for now is an ON SALE price because it is less than the final price.
So you're kinda looking at this all wrong.
Right now the price isi $35.
That is a DISCOUNTED price off the final price of $50.
So, it is, in fact, on sale right now.
Your choices are
to wait to buy the game when it will be more expensive, but you can be more sure of what you are buying,
OR
to buy it now at a significant discount and that's all you will ever play. You get to participate in the once in a lifetime experience of this game while it is being developed. Once this period is over, it's over never to be seen again.
It's up to you. But don't look for sales - sales are the antithesis of the rising price model.
I for one have a good deal more than 1000 hours in the game, and have thoroughly enjoyed it, bugs, glitches and all.
