Having problems with resolution. Please help!

Hey everyone! So I'm trying to play this game in a widescreen format within a window so that I can stream it on Twitch. I only have one monitor. I've been playing games on Steam for a few years now. I've never had a problem with doing what I'm trying to do. But when I load DayZ and play the game it always starts in a 4.3 aspect ratio. I've played with the settings for a few hours now. Anyone feel like helping out and telling me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks everyone!!!!

dude there is a option for aspect ratio in options>user interface. just set it to 16:9 or 16:10 depends on what screen you got

I have a widescreen monitor. Trust me. I already did the first ten things any computer person would try.

well i play csgo on my 4:3 screen and sometimes dayz aswell, if theres a bg shoot out going on, (still shoot better on 4:3 than 16:9) first time i switched dayz to my big screen had to do the ini settings, and now everytime when i swtich, just select the aspect ratio and done.

this should be working for you aswell.

edit. how did you connect your widescreen? hdmi digital or analog?
