Are you switching between private servers?
"Restart DayZ." Already try.
"If it is after a server restart it's wise to wait a few minutes before rejoining. There is a known issue where the character may be lost if joining in to quickly" Nope bro im not quickly.
When i open dayz i see my last character on main screen then i press play then everything gone
That "picture" is stored on your computer. Your character itself isn't. So you might see your char on the main screen, but you won't actually have him/her. Always wait a few minutes when leaving/joining servers. Take note on whether the server you join is private or public. It's displayed on the server menu.
It really sounds like you're joining private shards.
Your "menu character" is stored locally on your machine, so what you see there doesn't neccessary relate to what character you have in-game. One you join a server your character will be loaded from the hive. If this fails you will get a new character. There are several hives you could join and each will give you a separate character.
Look for something close to "MO 293-01" in the server name. State letters followed by the number grouping.
After joining, do a quick setup, new coat, maybe a low quality weapon just to change the look of your character and see for sure.
Once you have a few things, leave, wait five minutes, and join a different official server.
If that test there still fails (with you waiting the full five minutes) then I've got nothing left to offer except the bug tracker address where you can report your issue.
Edit: Typos. Need more coffee..
1. You are joining different hives without realizing it and using different avatars every time you play, or...
2. You are dying every time you log out because you aren't being careful about where and when you log, thus somebody or something is killing you during the 30 second log out process, or...
3. You are using the "PLAY" button on the main screen to simply rejoin (what you believe to be) your last server (which it won't be...meaning that you have no idea what server it is you are joining actually.)
First thing you should do is start using the server screen to select your server instead of hitting the play button. I would also suggest picking a private server (any one, just pick one) and see if you get reset everytime you go on that server. It will help you narrow down the problem if you need to go the tech support route.
Personally, I think simply joining through the server screen will fix it for you.
