Ghillie suit - Overheating all the time
I have a full ghillie suit, M65 Field Jacket, TTSKO pants, Smersh vest with backpack attached and i'm overheating all the time !
The only way to cool down for a bit is to sit in a pond for 5min but 30min later it's the same thing all over again...
What should I do ?
Thanks :)

PS : Btw, what happens when you're overheating for too long ? I don't think I ever lost blood and never fell unconscious either, whereas when you're hypothermic you're dead after 5min

Take off the ghilli ;) but why do you wonder that you overheat while wearing all that gear?

Agreed, Septic. I think wearing all of that gear IRL would definitely make someone super hot and sweaty..

p.s. - I think you just go unconcious if you are completely overheated for too long.

The gear you have on your poor character has a combined heat isolation value of 44,9, for comparsion: Jeans and T-Shirt has a value of 8,1.

The full ghillie suit is meant to be worn when it's needed, not all the time.

What you can do, is change the field jacket for an olive T shirt for a bit to cool off. Wear the ghillie only when stealth is absolutely necassary

From what I've read. People carry a bookback with their ghillie inside.

Although I've never done this, nor do I bother with a ghillie anymore, dropping the bookbag on the ground would result in losing it if you had to quickly escape; Which is why I do not like this combo or the result of dying from heat when using a ghillie. You shouldn't overheat if you're holding still, but you still do.
go to sea!

#1: The ghiliie suit is pretty op in reference to snipers. if perfected, a sniper can render themselves virtually invisible. The cons to this are that it will overheat you if you move too much, rightfully so. Imagine if this suit didn't punish you for moving too much. There would be too many ghosts. This suit is made to put in a bookbag and be worn once you are in position.
#2: Overheating (in the red text) can cause exhaustion and force you to pass out with a couple seconds in between the next. You will die in a couple seconds if it turns red.

I would take a gorka helmet over a ghillie hood any day. Just wear only the top/bushrag and you wont overheat.

Thanks for all the answers !
I don't want to change my jacket for something else because I need the storage space, it fits 2 protector cases which is perfect for me :)
Btw, you guys keep talking about a bookbag ? Do you mean a backpack or is it some new item I don't know ?
I'll either switch between ghillie and backpack or try to stay soaked/wet at all times, it seems like the only thing that keeps the body temperature down atm
Would be nice to get the option "pour canteen over head" too XD

would be nice if you could take off the Ghillie suit when you wanted, but you cant cause things vanish when you put them on the ground. what would be nice is if you could have an improvised backpack while wearing gillie, and are able to put it im backpack.

have you ever worn a ghillie in real life? those things are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hot man
Does the ghillie still stand out like it's highlighted if others have low settings on?
