Cant light fireplace

Cant light a fireplace. I have placed it, added firewood, and matches are in my hand, but no action to ignite. Is it broken? Its on exp

I have the same prob too. I want to warm up and get rid of the LR scope shake so I can do a little sniping.
I just spent about an hour trying all different ways, but with fireplace made, matches in hand... :(
If I can find a heatpack I'm going to see if they work for that too. Usual story... As soon as you want something theres none around... lol.

make a fire kit, it then needs 5 wooden sticks and then some fire wood. It should let you ignite then. But you also have to have it placed on a fairly level spot. I don't know if it works indoors or not.

You may already know the requirements for fire have changed in .53 but maybe not. Check out youtube for several tutorials.

Yep. I've sorted it. Make the fireplace kit with 1 stck and 1 rag. Place it on the ground. Dont try to add any more wood directly. Get 5 sticks in your hand and then when looking at fireplace the option will be there to create fireplace. You'll know when you've done it for sure. Then the matches will work! :)
