Policing The Age Limit
Not sure how it can be done but I would really like to see the age restriction for this game be able to be enforced some way.

I understand that it would be very difficult.

But steam could at least delete/remove requests for friends by people that are claiming to be under 18.

Why, what's wrong with kids playing the game?

Are you a concerned parent, or are kids too annoying? (Sorry if I come off as rude)

As long as a kid realises that it is just a game, then I think it's fine.

We can self-police to some extent. When you hear a squeaker, kill it.

Yeah, if a kid is, I'd say, below 13, they should not play the game.

Because squeakers blow out my eardrums everytime I hear one.

You know what, screw you buddy.

Are you also gonna enforce R rated movies?

Hows about M rated television?

Oh, and lets not forget magazines, billboards, THE INTERNET!?

edit: I don't enjoy screaming squeakers, but if the kids can act mature and not imply my mother gave them oral sex last night, or that I enjoy taking it up the bum from hairy men, I have no issues with them playing a video game.

This is one of the few games that I'd agree should have an age restriction that kids need to pay attention to. Kids are exposed to some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up stuff in Chernarus.

I 100% agree with you.

You can't impliment something like this, it's impossible to do.

All that can be done is that the parents, or guardians have to know what their children are doing, and restrict their use of the computer, and not buy them every game on the market for them which I suspect so many of them do since many parents use the T.V, and the computer to baby sit their children.

It's even more difficult when their are so many latch key kids out there who have parents working several jobs just to make ends meet.

It all comes down to the parents.

The Point is that this game is rated 18+, if I go to an venue or evnt that is rated 18+ I dont want or expect to find children there.

It isnt my responsibilty to make sure they arent there it is the people running that event.

I continually see posts on here by people claiming to be 13 etc, now if they are really only 13 (and not some perv pretending to be 13 to groom kids) then the posts should be removed.

There are many legal questions that arise when you allow children to mix/play with adults in the virtual world !

I understand that it would be very difficult to police but still think that it is something that needs to be addresed in some form.

You can't unless your a parent.

I mean take the websites, and Steam which require you to enter your birthdate to enter. It's not hard for them to enter anything that makes them look over 18.

It just can't be done.
