Can't get warm

I can't get warm, I've got good clothing, full healthy status, sat next to a fire, still says I'm cold and shaking, is it a bug?

I think its a bug. I had a down jacket and spring hunter pants on. Sat next to a fire. cooked some food in the fire and was healthy, energized and hydrater. I was dry too. but freezing, I know dayz is a early alpha game and that these things are to be expected. but come on. At least let us play the game without constantly dying from a buggy temperature feature.

Go prone next to the fire - Worked for me

oh and check the bug tracker see if its been reported exactly as you have it - might be a clothing glitch or something

I tried that to :P i was literally laying inside the campfire. and nothing happend :(

change server, I did that myself as a last resort, also not sure but starred at the sun and the status changed to getting warmer....

ive not had that bug, everytime i make a fire my character gets warm, the issue ive had a couple of times is when you die and you need to regear, i usually end up dying of hyperthermia becasue i cant find matches to light a fire to get warm no matter what clothesi out on.

i find some server warm you up better than others, mabey the time of day in the servers helps to

It seems to be a bug. I couldn't get warm while it was raining on an official persistance server. Butt I jump out and in to a regular server in my saved list(no persistance) and the fire warmed me up just fine. So weather it was the rain, the server with pers. on, or what I couldn't say.

Plus if you guys are up North in Novo area, the map will be "colder" than you being down South in Cherno area. Has to do with mountains elevation and the cold that come with it. Compared to Electro and Cherno being at water level, warmer. So dress for the occasion people.

I agree, i'm always cooling of with a full stuff "gorka military" and when i try to make a campfire it doesn't work : it doesn't warm me up..
I play on differents servers and it's always spamming "promptly cooling of ; cooling of ; slowly cooling of" .. It happens on servers with persistance i guess, because when i go on servers with no persistance, campfire works well and i'm not always cooling of..
