Not warming up while near fireplace + Other issue

[Fried_Noodles]

Started a fire in a building, sat next to it as I was cold and shaking, but it did not get me warm. I sat next to it for about five minutes but nothing happend. Has this happend to anyone else?
Also, if I look at or near the fire, my entire screen except for the fireplace kit itself and my UI goes completly black. I'll post pics in the next post.

The fires are glitchy especially in buil;dings. Start another some where else . Be careful as I melted my face and burned myself blind when I wasn't that close to a fire.

The whole cold / warm thing is glitchy. Just take a break until it's sorted out.

Yeah, this hotfix kind of scrood the pooch on that. I was just running flat out, high noon, pristine gorkas, boots, gloves, helmet - with visor and balaclava - "I am promptly cooling off". If I wasn't sweating my butt off the temperatures in the daytime must be ten degrees below freezing - call it 20 degrees F, -10 C. And if that's the case, as I pointed out elsewhere, there should be no unfrozen fresh water in Chernarus. No lakes, no creeks, no ponds - no water bottles - unfrozen.

I read somewhere that fires will not work if placed on any but the ground floor, but haven't tested myself. However, fires are working and do warm you if on the ground floor, that I can confirm.

Ive only used fires out in the open and they were functioning fine.
