I'll tell you how to create an instant death device.

First, crawl out into the woods and look for a cluster of small plants. Look down at the ground and "search for kindling". Don't be fooled by it's name. When you have a stick, drag some rags or bandages to it and create a splint. Now you right click on it and it'll kill you.

just crawl in the woods and press f, this happened to me (I also made a thread about it) and it only took me like 2 minutes to find a stick in the forest on the ground, and then i used the stick and bandage to make a splint.

yeah, find a way to make a splint or bug a zombie to kill you, just don't try drowning... lol... just keep respawning all but dead in the water til you find an alternate means to die

look for an axe, i once found one while having a broken legl, but couldn't find a rag * 2 days ago* and i finally found a server where a zombie was nicely left by another player inside the building where i spawned and i died :), now every chance i get, I try to lock up a zombie inside any building too.

They need to make a reset button or something, i've been stuck with a broken leg for awhile and the spot im at there are no zombies

It all depends on your position, if you are close to any building with side ladders you can still climb (even with your broken legs) and jump (in your case roll down) or combining 1 rag (in case you don't have rag you can use bandage or duck tape or cut your shirt into rags with sharp object) and 1 stick you can make a splint (splint is used to fix your broken leg) To get stick you can cut down small bush with sharp object like knife, machete or improvised stone knife which you can craft but you need to be on stony area like beach and looking down will give you an option to search for stone once you get it take it in your hand and again look on the ground and craft a stone knife
