A standard quart canteen = 946 ml
A standard 16 ounce water bottle = 473 ml
in europe and middle east those pet bottles are a standard 1 liter. if you were ever deployed to iraq you have used them. us canteens that are the ones in the game are only 1 quart like in real life.
Next to Cooking Pots, they are both ♥♥♥♥, at the minute.
In fact, the Canteen is probably the worst option of the three.
At least a PET Bottle can be used as a custom suppressor.
A Cooking Pot holds more water than 2 Canteens, and can be used to store food / equipment in it, whilst it is also full of water.
I have not tried yet.
However, I am tempted to empty one of my AK74 mags and put the ammo from that, into the cooking pot, putting it on a campfire, and seeing what happens.
Just for lolz.
