How to find your position

Go on Izurvive and then in the game, go to the docks.
I always look at the shape of the ground in the docks and then check on the map to know which city i am in always. and if your on the beach i dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know

If you get a GPS receiver you can get your Coordinates from the GPS and look at it on the map to see your location on the grid.

look at street signs and match them up i izurvive, there are only like 7 coastal cities it so it wont be long till you find it

Roy and Purple are correct!

City/Town/Village signs are located at main road entrances. Match them up to iZurvive.
In-game map + GPS works well too (put GPS in your hand in 1PP to read it).

The easiest way to coordinate in this game is looking for signs which tells you the name of the city you are in and then check it on a map. Looks for the small white signs at the end of the city.

How to find your position: Find a Tourist Map, a Compass, and a GPS Receiver (w/battary and turned on) .. Press M (or hold and open Tourist map). *Poof* There you are.

Navigation in this game works more or less exactly like it does in real life, well, before everyone had google maps in their pocket anyway.

GPS is a luxury, not a requirement.

Man, I remember the dayz when 'everything looked the same'. Now, no matter where I spawn, I know within 1 second exactly where I am. kinda sucks missing the mystery.
