Car blown up

I've just acquired a car put all required parts on and as i've pulled away there was a bang and the engine bay is smoking.. i assume the engine has blown up, is there a way to repair it? Engine parts are still pristine.

Did you put water in the radiator?
Your radiator might be broken.

More likely you ran over a land mine trap .. if the Engine or Car Body has a red dot next to its name, they are ruined, and the car will despawn as soon as you move away from it. If they are not ruined, use a blow torch to fix most metal car parts, epoxy to fix radiators.

It was a humvee as far as i know they don't need radiators, just wheels, glow plug & battery / there was no slots for anything else.

Yeah, i ran over a tree stump.. most of the body panels were already ruined so i think i've just put the nail in the coffin for it lol.
