Keep getting disconnected due to unstable connection

Keep getting disconnected due to unstable connection. It's only happening on this game, not others. I play on community servers. Is it because I have a roaming wifi network?

I was indeed "OK" with the game for thousands of hours now I am not. that a real issue

More than likely. I always recommend an ethernet connection for dayz. Can't you use a cable temporarily to see if that's your problem?

If you come back in a month and complain someone "hacked your account"

yep, wifi is very bad for DayZ in general.
blame the shoddy netcode or whatever but fact is that DayZ is very prone to packet loss which happens on a wifi connection very often because of interferences of all kind.
