MacOS version of DayZ

Hi everyone!

First of all, thank you to the developers for keeping DayZ alive and evolving - it’s truly one of the most unique survival experiences out there.

I’d like to kindly ask:
Are there any plans to release a native version of DayZ for macOS?
A growing number of users now work and play on MacBooks with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4 chips), and many games are becoming available natively or via official support.

Yes, we know about Parallels or Boot Camp workarounds, but these aren’t ideal - especially with anti-cheat and performance limitations..
A native macOS version or even just official support via Proton or CrossOver would open the game up to a new group of dedicated players.

I have not seen anything announced, and I highly doubt that the Devs will release a MacOS compatible version of a 10+ year old game.

That said, it may be something in the future, in the next version of DayZ on the new Enfusion game engine being developed via Arma Reforger now .. They plan on that version having cross-platform play between PC and Consoles, so MacOS is more possible.
