DayZ
Is DayZ a full survival game?
Like, can you craft, build, farm, recruit NPC's, hunt, scavenge, manage health, manage resources, etc?
Like, 7 Days to Die, but as an MMO with PvP?

Or is it a "survival" game the way Steam labels Apex Legends a survival game? Where "survival" doesn't just mean learning to live in a harsh environment, but also PvP?

You can Craft, build, farm, hunt, scavenge, manage health.. resources.. food and water. There are PvP and PvE servers. Also a mix of both PvPvE...

You can do even more on the more modded servers.

Are there recruitable NPC's?

Not in vanilla but there is a mod for that.

I'm running the Terje skills and medicine mods on my server. I really like what it adds to the game.

Craft system 3/10
Building system 1/10
Farming, gathering, hunt 5/10
Survival feeling 4/10 (just eat eat eat and fight some zombies so if u have more then 100-200 hour you will do fine)
PvP 5/10 (lots of cheaters more then cs2)

That rating might hold true for official vanilla servers - but thats where newbies (and cheaters) play. Not the rest of us.

Any veteran to dayz plays modded servers, because we know all the problems official/vanilla have.

On a well-modded server, dayz gameplay hits 9/10 or 10/10 on all those rankings easily.
There is no other game like dayz. Nothing else comes close to the amount of interaction this game can offer - if modded well.

Of course there's also 50 junk servers for every 1 good server.... and then you still need to have a good admin team that arent egomaniacs/psychopaths on those few good ones...
Thats actually what dayz is: finding the best server. All other time spent in dayz is frustration and regret at wasted time. Look up GFORGE servers if you want to find what dayz is meant to be.

Stop the LARP. Camomo never caught a good closet cheater in Rust and the same goes for your community admins in DayZ. It's all in your head. If anything, closets and zerglings avoid official because that's where blatants are, and that's why community has more closets than blatants... who are rather rare.

Also, the guy you're replying to claims that there are more cheaters in this game than CS2... out of all games, and it appears that he mains Rust.
There is no way in hell that DayZ has more cheaters than Rust.

Rust have a report system and u see who shoted you stb and u get feedback when they banned the guy. In DayZ nothing that is why more cheater in DayZ then any other game. In DayZ u closly get achivment for cheating not a Ban.

How is an admin supposed to catch a closet aim hacker if the sprays do not repeat? It's random—he could be lucky once, twice, or as many times as luck allows. As long as he doesn't shoot in a straight line, you have absolutely nothing on him.
The truth is that inadequate people who complain about skill-based mechanics, like the recoil in old Rust, are the real reason we have to deal with this issue while admins can only watch with their ♥♥♥♥♥ in their hands.

i like how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ players and moreover die to one cheater or a freshie with a bk-12 that was behind a door they didn't check and then all those people run off to forums to scream how "DAYZ IS INFESTED WITH CHEATERS MORE THAN IT IS WITH INFECTEDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Even if it did repeat...
To this day, I am almost convinced that Deathwingua was a filthy closet cheater based on his crosshair movements. Guess what? That still wasn’t enough to get him banned. Imagine now or in a game like DayZ. Like, look at the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ God I used to be and even I couldn't tell for sure. Camomo and your community admins in Dayz? These guys don't play at that level. They don't know ♥♥♥♥.

Back to DayZ—DayZ doesn’t appeal to cheaters because cheaters seek instant satisfaction. Just reaching Tisy takes two hours. Cheaters aren’t into that life. Cheaters who main DayZ are straight-up anomalies.
