Problem finding a server

Hello. I have a problem and I need help. When I send a friend the IP or the entire server name, it does not search for it in the Launcher. The opposite is the case with me, if he gives me the IP address and I don't find it in mine. Where should you look for the problem?

I have the same issue, i use DayZ vanilla launcher and can't find specific servers, when i look them up with their name. If i have an IP address, i use direct connect and at the same time, i add them into my favourites and then they'll show up in my list.

DZSA launcher works better, i found the servers i was looking for only half of their names so maybe try that?

True but it could also be that the missed a number or maybe its not the standard 2302 port

Close all launchers and Open Steam - goto View in top bar - select Game Servers ----- select Favourites - select + on the bottom right of the window ----- Enter server IP + port

Not only can you connect to the server from that window it will also show up in the launcher favourites tab.


If this does not work your IP+port number is not correct.
