How many gas filters for Rify?

Hello survivors,
I am gearing up to have a crack at the Rify toxic zone and was wondering how many gas filters you take? I am planning on skipping most of the containers but want to check both halves of the ship wreck.

I have two full filters so far but I don't think that is enough...

Also, since you can already top-up the filters with charcoal, it would be logical to also be able to combine partially full filters to make a full one.

4 total filters should be enough. Will give you around 15 minutes of 'safety'.

2 is plenty if you know the ship well and dont get lost

depending on how well you know the wreck and where the loot spawns you can do it with one but having 2-3 is better or having the full combat gas mask is great as its got a much longer filter though you cant refill it. Dont fight the infected inside the gas bait them out first or sneak past so as to not waste filter time on them. the very top of the ♥♥♥♥ is also outside of the gas meaning you can have a breather up there if you need to refill your filters. also hot bar the filters to see how long you have left on them.

I take two with me and have never had a problem.
