i was playing spaggies green at the weekend, in the loading screen I received the "your voice is your best weapon" hint, it was quite apt because i got into a run in with a right weirdo, he honestly sounded like a serial killer and he was coming out with so much weird stuff, it really put me off my game. Met so many cool people playing DayZ but this guy was so sketchy. Would hate to check under his floorboards.

The "voice is your best weapon" is just baiting you to get banned. Or me, at least. What's the point of voice chat if I can't call you all the mean words I can't use in real life?

The internet used to be a mature place, for adults, back in the day. I don't know what happened. You can't even remark that a dude is acting like a girl, because he might be wearing a thong under his jeans, report it to the dude admin wearing a thong, and then you get banned.

People love roleplaying in this game. Probably was roleplaying a serial killer type character. You can't take everything you hear to heart, especially in these types of games.

Now, if he was streaming himself live doing/saying weird stuff, then maybe you'd be onto something. Hard to tell now with so many people acting/being crazy. Don't let one single person creep you out so easily.

Yeah, definitely just you. If you need to rely on name calling and throwing slurs, maybe having a mic isn't the weapon you need to be using. I'm sure you wouldn't be saying half the stuff you do in-game in real life, not without something happening to you.

Back in the day, it was aight but wasn't the greatest. Nowadays, it's just Looney Tune Rust Bro! (you don't know where this is from lol) DEI everything (movies/shows/games) everyone is a snowflake and you are more likely to get banned much more easier on these forums than ever before.

We all thought the future would be the best but it turns out, it's just crap. The only good thing the future brought was making the devil's lettuce legal.

I get people will use the mic to get inside your head, put you off your game, name calling whatever, but this guy put me off my dinner. I honestly think I've had an encounter with someone not all there. If he was role playing than he was good at it.

Watch a ton of movies, especially the horror types and you'll have a bunch of stuff to help you with your act.

I can be like "but man, human meat just tastes delicious. You ever sliced two perfect butt cheeks up, cooked & fried them until they were just right? sinking your teeth into them as your tongue dances on it's lovely texture, soft and juicy skin and meat" etc etc.

Very tame but something along those lines. Probably watched a couple Dahmer movies/shows to get into it and a bunch of other stuff. If it was your first experience, enjoy it. It goes down hill from there.

Any suggestions for a roleplay server where I can play with people like this?
