From what I read and from friends who own intel, while they do get poor fps from time to time, its alot less frequent than AMD.
But the real truth here, is not AMD or Intel. It is the poorly written & out dated engine being used here, wityh its DX10 still. Performance will always be crap. This is a fact. Unless they change or massively overhaul the engine, this is pretty much how it will always be-unless you wait to buy it on PS4, then a cap of 30 fps is about all your gonna get. But that is a good year or 3 away as well. And screw the PS4 with a Bat. PC Master Race Bishes! :D
sceneComplexity=50000;
shadowZDistance=50;
viewDistance=1200;
preferredObjectViewDistance=1000;
the game must look awful...
I use Intel CPU with these settings:
sceneComplexity=750000;
shadowZDistance=100;
viewDistance=2600;
preferredObjectViewDistance=2300;
I hate when I hike around chernarus and cannot see the hill on the other side but blue fog.
Lower view and ddraw distance help the FPS but kills the joy for me.
As I said, AMD is not the best for this game, but BS? I provide proof with stats
And I have an 8350 8 core. And it 100% improves the 10 to 15 fps I had before
This is how the game looks

This wasnt intended as a look around video, got into a gun fight and ran outta ammo, so I recorded my escape while playing music to hopefull draw attention to who was shooting at me, turns out it was the admin and I got kicked lol
But this should give some details of how it looks.
Many are just repeating the Intel fan boy chant of hate on amd. It is a known fact Intel runs this game better, I was just trying to help the AMD users out there maybe tweak a little to get some better fps
a bit suprised here that it looks pretty good even with such low settings
though the view distance is not so much visible in the video
whatever works for you :)
But i have only like 25-30 fps in town when i turn everything off and textures on middle.
Any sugestions`?
Depending on the town, I get the same, regardless of what I do, You can see in the video my fps goes from 46 fps in the police station & dips as low as 22 fps at one point, but stays on average of 30ish fps when not recording.
The engine is poorly optimized and aside from tweaking what settings you can, thats roughly the best you can expect on current AMD cpus.
Ill make a few more videos later showing some FPS and stat usage and showing the view distance.
Its by no means great, but is 100% playable and still able to see incoming threats.
shadowZDistance=250 (fixed the water pond edges)
viewDistance=1600
preferredObjectViewDistance=1300
