or how "actual" tripwires work?
Because the are quite different.
Tripwire w/nade and a landmine maybe?
Go to area commonly trafficked or a high tier loot area. Put the claymore's remote detonator attached to a trip wire. Put the trip wire inside the steps or barely protruding the ground, and it will be invisible but still trippable. Sit in a bush from where you can observe. Log out. Log back in after 30 mins. Rinse repeat.
You're gonna booby trap then combat log until you think it's safe to loot the dead? Wow....
It depends, at least that's my experience with it with dying by grenade launcher explosions / frags.
I reality a grenade would have a delay, probably not very long*,
but it would be there.
Claymore's however and mines in general do not.
They either have a contact fuse or are "command detonated**".
In a game... Anything is possible. I have never hung around to find out TBH.
*It depends on the length of the fuse selected
when Arming the grenade. The delay can be anywhere
from 8 seconds to 1.
**Tripping a tripwire is the "command".
had to have been trip/detonaterclaymore , or plastic. What's the chances of dying like this twice in two weeks
This happened to me last night
Dare i say it...
It must be a...
I didn't see anyone mention this, but this is possible to do. So that's probably what happened also.
Can you do that irl too??? Idk let's try to find out!!!
Why would you need to when you can short fuse the grenade safely
by SETTING a short fuse?
Pretty sure once the fuse is burning finding the striker/spoon and
replacing the pin is not going to stop the fuse when initiated...
Seriously, not recommended.
