That's why I'm writing this. I have 3700 hours in Dayz, not the first time I've played it.
That's an issue you need to take up on the servers discord.
There is probably some kind of mod that mods sickness.
The server admins are the only ones that can help.
If that's really the case, then you're the first to be honest.
Everyone else on the servers always says: "That's just how the game works, we can't influence it."
The question is whether the admin can influence this live? I mean online directly on players with admin tools?
They're part of the DayZ standard?
The servers I visited usually had very few to no players online with around 30 - 60 slots.
Should I assume that an admin is playing a trick on me?
Or is the server badly configured?
That would be the reason why there are few to no players on 5 of the servers I tested.
And if the water bottle was already contaminated beforehand, then I should have been sick for the first few minutes.
I suspect you're just doing something wrong. Eating with bloody hands, eating raw/rotten/burnt meat/fat/guts, drinking water from something else than a well, drinking gasoline, eating wolf or bear etc
No, as described above, I don't make these mistakes, I know them all too well XD
But I didn't know that the mods affected this. Well, good to know, thank you
no, please read what I wrote at the beginning, I don't just play for 2 hours and I know a lot but this has happened to me recently, in the last 10 days. That's why the thread
u dont just start vomiting for no reason.
try a true vanilla server and see if u can reproduce the issue.
Vanilla Official Server I have no such problems strangely
We all make mistakes from time to time regardless
of the hours we have ingame. If you rush something
or are under pressure it's easy to mess up something small
and silly and not notice until it's too late.
we ALL do it.
From example, i was drying my wet clothing after a bit of a swim.
I heard someone walking around outside the house i was in.
Everything was dry 'cept my boots. Leaving them and my bag on the floor
i went for a look. It was a hostile player who took a shot.
I only had an IJ a with no mag so i cut back, grabbed my bag and
lit out of there.. Completely forgetting my boots.
I died soon after wondering why i was bleeding from 5 cuts...
