[SOLVED] gas masks don't work?
so i put on a gas mask and went inside a toxic zone, but it didn't seem to work? my character started coughing and bleeding, how do i make the gas mask work?

And if it's a type of mask that takes a detachable filter, one of those as well!

Sometimes you also need to recharge the filter with medical charcoal tabs.
