SUPER DOUBT IT, the only games you can play on the steam deck will be games from AAA studios, games like dayz ,arma 3 ,squad, hell let loose wont be able to be ran on a steam deck. games like Halo and Apex Legends will be able to be ran on a SD.

So for dayz there is another possibility, by simply downloading the DZSA launcher. clarified faster than opening a big barrel

from the steam dayz store page:
STEAM DECK COMPATIBILITY: Unsupported

after a google search i take that back as it seems to work. i wonder why they list it as "unsupported". i know some people who would just buy the steam deck for dayz.
