Cherating tablet or chlorine tablet, either one is good alternative?
Do they work the same way to purify water in sakkal?

Only chelating tabs clear out the heavy metals in snow and hot spring water. Otherwise they're equal, except of course chelating tablets can be eaten to cure HMP.

One is for metal poisoning and the other deals with cholera.

u just need the chelating pills. it does all the same chlorine does plus its used against metal poisoning.
i think the chlorine tabs are quite useless on sakhal. unless u want to use it to purify the canteens/bottles u find in the world (which seems pointless as there are springs quite everywhere).

I have quite a few hours on Sakhal official servers now and i have not
ever gotten sick from drinking from a"found" canteen or cooking pot
that was full and frozen. Once de-frosted, they seem ok.
I feel that will change in future patches though.

You've just gotten lucky. I'm not sure about the pots but bottles and canteens have a 20% chance of containing cholera. On other maps it's 50%.

I've only seen one in my entire playtime on Sakhal. Just watched a video of a guy showing where they are located (since I had no clue) I thought the springs was player made lol

Good to know but I might end up forgetting since there is always something on the "Loot List" and other stuff on my mind.

Yeah well, I will bear that in mind in the future.
It's not like the medicine to treat the water is hard to find.
Just me being lazy.
