How do i know the water is "boiled" in the plastic bottle?

I am referring to the Sakkal map.

On Sakhal, I’m pretty sure boiling water doesn’t help remove the poisoning. You need fresh water from a spring or need to use the water filter bottle.

I never trust any water I find laying around in bottles on any map though. Always dump it and get fresh to be safe.

Wow I didnt know that poising is a thing? What kind of medication do i need to combat the poisoning?

On Sakhal, melted snow and I think other forms of water that are not from a spring have heavy metal poisoning. And I believe the medication to combat this is Chelaton(sp?) tablets.

Like Jethro says, water from snow and the hot springs has heavy metals in it. You'll need chelating tablets or a filtering bottle to clean it.
You can still boil water from looted containers to get rid of cholera, but this can't be done in bottles because they don't heat up enough.

The only water that is safe to drink on Sakhal without doing anything is from the wells that look like doghouses. Anywhere else and you will need chelating tablets to remove heavy metals. Chelating tabs can be used to remove heavy metals and purify water and cure heavy metal poisoning if you have it. Another thing to note is Chlorine is useless on Sakhal but on other maps chelating tabs can be used to do the same job as Chlorine.

I don't think you should boil water in plastic as it will leech out chemicals and release parabens which makes frogs turn a certain way that Alex Jones tired to warn us all about due to similar affects on male humans.
