For those in America, I believe Tesco and Woolworths are like Walmart or Sams Club in the US.

In Australia Woolworths is just a supermarket that sells grocery items..
Like Tesco does.

Cost nothing to ask.
Delivery fee will be a kicker though.
Maybe "doordash" can do it?

Back in the 70's and 80's we had Woolworths stores in the US, but they were Department stores, and had no groceries at all.

As for Walmart and Sams Club, yeah, they sell more than just groceries, but I'm pretty sure they are the only real Nation wide "grocery stores" in the US .. most of our Grocery stores are Regional brands, each of which would be the equivalent of Tesco in their own right, but someone from Texas is unlikely to know the name of the largest chain in Michigan or Oregon. For someone in the US, it's more easily associated by giving the Walmart example, tho I guess I should have said "the Grocery section" of a Walmart. (about 45% of the "super store" sized Walmarts)
Our Woolworths was a really odd store that sold all sorts but not really anything you'd need.

To steal an analogy from above, it was like the Walmart but without groceries but all sorts of cheap stuff from clothes to CDs to tools and vast amounts of "pick n mix" sweets.

Yeah, that's pretty much what ours were, kind of the "dollar store" of it's day, I guess.
yes, that's it, perfectly put!

In the UK, Woolies was where you went to buy records and tapes - you remember records and tapes? From when we used to have good music? And also the sweets - the pick and mix counter was great.

TESCO - very like a Publix in the US (are they nationwide _KC76_?), 80% groceries but do sell things like TVs, and a small range of clothing.
