If you are sick of DayZ standalone for now, and want to play something close to the vanilla dayz mod experience, i suggest you try out DayZero. It still has a fairly active community, and it is not ruined by "2000 cars and 200 helicopters" -servers. The modification has a lot of enterable buildings that weren't enterable in the mod, and also a weapon attachment system, etc.

Its really as close as you can get to the vanilla dayz experience right now. I'm sorry if this sounds like an advert, but its more of me just trying to get more people to play.
