DayFinder App iOS/Android

I discovered a great App for iPhone/iPad/iPod and Android that can help to find/move easily and know where are the members of our team.
Everything is free (with little ads ...)

Ahhh... so this is something you can carry into the game with you and talk to your clan/friends with out using ts? :j

EDIT: kind of like a gps/walkie talkie? does it use the 9 volt batteries? :j

lol just for all days where you don't play... all players know your position ... moreover you have water pump positions and compass into app

There is no link with dayz ... YOU record your position

it's for recorded your position in chernarus map, you don't understand the link with dayz ???? chernarus<->dayz ..... ???

Nothing is on your computer so there is nothing for the game or battleye to be involved with. It's on your phone.

Does that app only show you the locations of people on your in game friends list? Or can it be hacked to show the location of anyone on the map?

I'm just wondering, because that could explain how people find you so easily sometimes, when there is only 2 or 3 other people on the map.

If all it does is record your current position, then it's pretty much pointless, since I know where I am already, I don't need to be told "You are here", and I don't group up. However, if it shows your location in real time and relays that to your phone, then it's useful.

The app is brandnew.. too many adds for my tastes and I didn't see any easy way to use controls. . . .

Well it wasn't working for me Map also had no towns, buildings, nothing working.

Ahh... So it doesn't mark the towns, it just shows the general map. I guess that's still kind of useful, if it's real time, otherwise, it's pointless. I have to ask though, why would you get the App if all you wanted was a map, when you could just load the DayZDB map into your phones browser, which will do just as good a job.

You can see towns and water pump... for towns you must zoom in map... An other thing : the "search" tab very usefull.... with proximity indication.
