How do i break out of handcuffs?

4 guys who claimed to be fiendly just locked me up and left me like this lol. they did give my a crossbow.. but handcuffing was unecessary...

no no I just respawned, which ofcourse left me with nothing. I have no patience haha

I read that by rocking back, and forth rapidly (A-D keys while kneeling) you can squirm your way out but I never was able to get it to work for me. I had to duck, and dodge just to survive long enough to look for keys but as always I was mobbed, kicked, and bitten to death.

I am wondering if Bohemia will be adding the ability to hide small objects on your body such as handcuff keys, maybe a hairpin.

I know what some of you are thinking which is why I didn't put it in this post.

Oh and also, I can run and everything when I am restrained, I just cant get to inventory open doors or anything like that.. is that the way it is supposed to be?

Tell you the truth I do not know. My only advice to you is if you are being surrounded by bandits, or anyone for that matter is to run, or fight. Better to die fighting or staying alive by running.

I have done both, and more often than not I run, and usually get away.

Also one more thing, you may on occasion come across people who are very clever such as the Book, lamp holding goober who will approach you in the dark, place down a book for you to read, and when you start reading the book he/she will handcuff you, and walk away so be careful.... There are many ghostly figures in Chernarus.

hahaha. see those guys approached my saying they were friendly, they put their guns away and everything, I assumed they handcuffed me cause they didnt feel save or something, and then set me free once they're done talking, but nope... :D

i dont understand why ppl let be cuffed, if i have a gun start shooting like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, and if i not hace gun i just run to punch, better die to been cuffed. im right?

I handcuff people as a precaution. I help new spawns, but can't trust them. I do uncuff them though.

Q/E is either false information or it just somehow finds a way to differ depending on your computer... I find A/D to work, so do everyone one of my mates playing the game.

Yes but they took my Magnum and SKS with them... thats makes them not friendly. I suppose yes, they did not kill me, so they are not bandits. They're just a bit of an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I guess... lol

I think that makes them friendly bandits... a very rare breed in DayZ. My hat is off to them

well you can struggle out of handcuffs while Pressing Q/E and they prbly knew that and thought you did too, they just didnt want you chasing them and potentially killing them that is all i think. When playing a game like DayZ nothing is better than Patience btw
