Logging with handcuffs on - Does it kill you?

My buddy and I aren't bandits, but in a situation where the man we come across is armed, we cuff him as a precaution. We don't steal, we don't KOS, we don't harm them, just get the situation under control. Had a guy complying with us just now, cuffed him, put him on the ground, and when going to unlock his cuffs... there's no option to. But I can feel his pulse. So he expired, randomly. Wondering if he logged and it killed him maybe?

If you're cuffed, and have keys, can you get out of them?

My understanding is that if you log out while cuffed your character dies. :j

Don't know if you can use the keys on yourself but you can get out of them by wiggling back and forth. Depending on what shape they are in may take longer with pristine cuffs than damaged. :j

yes logging off while handcuffed kills you. you can break free of the handcuffs though, a key is not needed

People need to learn not to log in situations like this...

Like that last guy we made contact with, just logs out in the open right after seeing you. Poor sod is lucky we were'nt out for blood. Guess he didn't know his body stays there for a good 20 seconds and we could have just shot him in the head if we wanted to...
