Molotov Cocktails?
Since the developers are adding in a new physics feature, allowing player to actually throw stuff to distract zombies/hurt players/scare the living ♥♥♥♥ out of players, it seems like a very good idea to input molotov cocktails in the game. All they really need to do is add glass bottles. It could be crafted by a rag, some alchohol, a bottle (obviously), maybe some matches or a lighter if they're added in later, and there you go. t 'd be really cool to be able to toss them around cover, or to easily burn off a horde of zombies.

Agreed. The option to make 1 and be just about to throw it when you yourself get hit by gunfire, drop the cocktail and burn yourself up. seems logical, of course im talking wayyyyyyyyyyy down the line when critical items are all taken care of.

Already matches, as well as ragts and alcohol tincture. Next update will have physics and fire I think, which means it *should* be possible. THey would need to create the item, then make a system for it.

Yeah I knew they're in the game. It'd be really great to see the different ways it could be used. Maybe if you're damaged by the fire, clothes and items would be severely damged . Or they're could even be some singe marks all of your clothing.

yup petro-bombs.... empty beer bottles a rag and diesel fuel I am all for those long before hand grenades and C-4. or they could use the real ingredients but because "Fight Club" had to put "equal parts orange juice and gasoline" for napalm, due to legal reasons. I doubt a video game would be able to get away with it either... and no, diesel fuel is not the ingredient for napalm, but a petro-bomb...

Only if there is a chance for them to backfire and you catch yourself on fire.

If you're close enough to the flames, yeah, you'd probably end up burning yourself.

Maybe it could be used as a defensive strategy, where instead of directly throwing them at zombies, you could throw them nearby and the zombies would be distracted by the light.

Why did Fight Club have to use orange juice and gasoline? Legal reasons? I've seen plenty of movies use molotov cocktails with real ingredients.

I know the precise chemical to mix with the solution and where that said chemical is found in common everyday goods
