How long to break handcuffs?
Was playing with a friend and we found a set of pristine handcuffs. Now, having read that it only takes a few minutes to break out, we decided to test them, to see how they work etc.
He handcuffed me, and well, it didn't go to plan lol.
After 40 minutes of struggling I still wasn't free, and then the server crashed. Luckily when I logged back in I still had all my loot, and the cuffs were gone.
So question is, how long does it take to struggle out of pristine handcuffs? And whats the best method? I was just spamming the A/D keys.

You mean the Q and R keys right?

Well I goggled it and found many suggestions. Q/E, A/D, one even said spam the SPACE key.
I tried them all and only A/D made the guy look like he was struggling.

I think it depends on the condition of the handcuffs.

Everything is a matter of condition in this game, but it's Q and E keys to break cuffs. Now I know why you never broke them.

Can confirm this. Tested with friend, pristine took him around 10 minutes to break. Damaged less than 5, Badly Damaged tends to be under 1 minute.

I don't think I've ever come across a pair of cuffs in pristine condion. That's a find all in itself.

Thats what I thought myself. they are pretty rare I believe. (Found in a barn in Gorka).
But getting back to what keys to use. Are you sure it's Q/E? Becasue that just made him sidestep about. A/D actually made him struggle with the cuffs.

Q/E are lean by default.. did you rebind?

One of my friends knocked me out and put pristine handcuffs on me, struggled for an hour and they didnt come off
