Green Mountain Numbers Station.

Just in case you guys are wondering what the "Hidden" transmission is coming out of Green Mountain, It's a Numbers Station which apparently gives the co-ordinates to Green Mountain.

If you don't know what Numbers Stations are, they are used by Intelligence Agencies to transmit codes to operatives in the field who use 1 time match books to decipher the transmission which tells them what their next mission is, or relays vital intel too them in the field.

There are 2 famous cases of Numbers Stations being heard on FM channels. The Lincolnshire Poacher is perhaps the worlds most famous case of an operational Numbers Station broadcast and it had a "Sister" broadcast too called "Cherry Ripe".

They are pretty cool to hear. There is some wierd stuff on some of them. Listen for the binary signals too, there are some free programs that will translate them into images for you.

Oh yeah, it was released that they had been trying to track terrorist groups that had supposedly been using WoW and the like to talk shop and make plans. I believe they were outed with the Snowden stuff.

I thought they were playing Battlefield when that occurred? I did hear stories about that instance.
