Think about it. You think BiS will fund DayZ:SA and release it to compete with their ARMA 3 release? I don't think so. No one wanted to play ARMA 3... no one! But people bought it cause they lied and made people believe DAYZ:SA was gonna be ARMA 3 engine. It is not.
GG, BiS, you money grubbing monkies!
Please, show me where they lied and told people it would be on the ARMA 3 engine.
Entertain me.
That was a statement from Rocket on the DayzMod.com forum back in the middle of Summer fo '12. He said it that they would have use 3.0 for security reasons. What a joke.
Frankly, I don't have a quote cause I'm not that loser that saves forum posts for occasions like this.
Believe it or not, it was said and there were many people that saw it.
The last time we tried to entertain you Rossums, you "inadvertantly" started a debate over clips and magazines that went on for 3 pages :P.
Oh hello, are you still pissed that you had 3 topics locked a while back for calling the game trash still?
The mod was doing his job.
I wouln't call it a "job" but still, steam forums are so filled with trolltrash that I can somewhat understand admin's behaviour. Please stay on topic
What was said was that they would use parts of the Arma 3 engine for security reasons, they ARE using some parts of the Arma 3 engine as well as parts from Arma II and Take on Helicopters.
