Looting in water
Hi!
I fell while I was on the ship, so I respawned and went back to my body.
But it is in the water and I can't loot it! Is it just a bug or will I have to loot everything again?

Never died in the water in SA so not sure, but at a guess I would say your gear is gone, in DayZ Mod you couldnt get your gear back from the water.

Ive read other peoples posts that they went swimming and lost all their gear...

I know that you can swim in the SA - done it several times but did not lose any gear and have never attempted to loot anything in the water. Just used it to lose z's... run through a coastal town, pick up all the zombies, then swim across the bay - no more z's! LOL. :j

Also, as I understand it, bodies are only lootable for 10 minutes. So if it took you longer than that to get back you'd be out of luck anyway.
