Afraid to play?

Anyone get afraid to play? What I mean is after playing for a few hours and you log off you don't dare to log back in because you might die... and lose everything.

No, even when I have awesome gear, it doesnt take long to get it back.

Half the fun is finding gear

I'll admit that I do. However, I only fear the logging in and not the actual playing. If I die playing, it's fine. If I log in and get killed instantly because I logged in the middle of something...I rage. I've actually logged into two people talking before. I was so freaked out, I left the server. I'm glad they didn't kill me within these 30 seconds. Even if you think you are in a safe area to log, you'll never know for sure.

Not really.. i only get annoyed when some loser camper KoSer kills me for no reason what so ever, or i get kill as a freshspawn.. everything else i am fine with it.

For me the risk of loosing it all is part of the fun of survival and pvp.
It's all part of the game.

My life. Still on my first character with over 20 hours play time. Only ever met 1 other guy and we were too scared of each other to get close.

Scared to die, scared to lose my gear, scared to have to spend another 20 hours getting to where i am again.

Not scared of losing my gear, persay, but definitely scared to log in and find someone else standing there. My goal at this point is exploration, and that's made difficult by being sent back to the coast when killed. =p

Well, in theory you only need about 5 or 6 hours to get where you are, after that you won't get any farther because is not enough content yet.

If you do not like this or get "afraid to play", better uninstall the game and play some random Shooter or Sim City.

I don't think they mean getting killed as soon as you log in, just getting killed in general. I took it as a general sort of anxiety over losing your progress.

Just like I said, logging in and out in seemingly save spots may help, but you still can't be sure. As these two guys I logged into where in the middle of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nowhere.

Yes, but I do have a healthy fear of bugs. They are a frustrating way to die, even though I fully accept they will happen. It doesn't stop me from being nervous I could lose progress in my travels because of a glitch.

i can understand that much but if you are just running around searching all the time you will get bored of the game. to many people are horders in this game and almost cry when they die. i go bandit hunting and put myself in danger zones just for the thrill...
