IV Starter Kit

My combat buddy was sick and dying (ingested poison). I have a complete first aid kit. Can I, will I ever be able to, start an IV line into his body? I have a saline bag and should be able to keep him hydrated while he's unconscious. How else could I revive/save him? Or am I expecting to much from this game?

try an epipen or morphine, if not just force feed him good food and drink, that should do it....

If someone is unconscious, a saline bag or an epinephrine will bring them back. The saline isn't intended to replenish fluids as if a person were dehydrated.

You can add teh saline bag to the iv kit to rejuivinate his blood and heal him up a bit, and in order to wake him you check his pulse, epipherine if regular, defib if irregular.

You need an IV starter kit to combine with the saline bag and then you administer it to your friend, that should be enough to wake him up/stabilize him, then he needs lots of food and rest.
