What's it take to blow up a gas station?

I've seen videos and screen shots so I thought I'd take a whack at it. I unloaded a full 60 round m4 clip into a pump and nothing happened. Have I been mislead or was that particular station out of gas?

yea... prolly not lol I definately wouldn't recommend hitting it with an axe but I wouldn't waste ammo shooting at it either seeing how many shots it takes before it blows it isnt worth it and anyone that you were trying to blow up standing near a pump would proly be well outta the way from danger long before the pump blew lol

well if I had 4 or 5 friends each taking pot shots at the same pump, group effort lol I wonder how far the explosion can be heard

I tried blowing one up the other day, but I didn't have enough ammo. I'd imagine that once we have vehicles it will be to our strategic advantage to blow up our enemies' fuel sources. I'd like to see this play out as more than just random Fun w/Property Damage. *lol*
