How Long Can You Be Unconscious Before Death?

So some POS just KOS'd me after I called friendly and was kind enough not to shoot him in the face on sight. Currently knocked unconscious, probably bleeding out. How long can you be unconscious for from full health?

I have the same problem, i got into a pve server and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ kos me at nwaf.

if you're below a certain blood level you basically can't wake up on your own. need help from another person, you can stay unconscious for an hour and more as far as i know.
been shot unconscious several times and usually after two mins if i wasn't below blood level i could wake up

Look up Merino DayZ guides on Youtube. All you ever need really. You will never wake up if you're under 500 units of blood and if you're just at 500 (not bleeding) you're never going to die.
*Edit* And by never I mean if any other circumstance were not involved (e.g starving, double tap, etc)

If you're punched out, 30 seconds. If you're shot, bout 2 mins. I was shot up by someone holding an m4, I thought I was dead, waited, and everything came back up black and white. I tried to get up and run but he shot me again.

There arent any PvE Server even if it is in the Server Title :) PvE = not allowed says Server Host Rules^^

Yeah I get that, what annoyed me was that I said friendly, he didn't respond either positively or negatively, but he waited until I waved to attack, so I couldn't bring my gun up fast enough to get him. Both must have unloaded 30 bullets full auto from m4's at 10 meter range. Pretty sure he wasn't walking away from that encounter either. What a waste.

Most of the people who have attempted to KOS me (and died shortly after) yell "friendly" either while shooting at me or just before shooting. Don't yell friendly, or don't trust people.

Rule of thumb: don't trust anyone in Dayz.

Second.. the longest you will go out for in this patch is about 5 minutes tops.
