What kind of ammo is it?

there is a clip for the SKS... i've only found one this go around and i think it uses 7.62 ammo - it is not a "magazine" such as you use with the M4 & .45 and i don't know if you can reload the clip after using it. :j

wrong ammo maybe ?

Make sure the ammo isn't in the box

There are two types of 7.62 ammo. You need the 7.62x39mm for the SKS

I DO HAVE THE BOX AND THE CLIP, BUT THE CLIP ONLY HAS 2 ROUNDS IN IT. THE CLIP SAYS 7.62 BUT NOT 7.62x39mm.

Coult the "clip" you have be the snaploader - which only fits the Bl-95 double rifle?

so there is a clip for the sks? i know the box of ammo i have is the correct ones

Yeah, look for a green box of ammo that has a bear on it. Or look for the 7.62 rounds that are grayish looking. Those are for the SKS. You probably have a snaploader clip for the double barrel rifle.

It takes 7.62 ammo and you need a snap loader, which isnt really a clip but more like a skinny metal strip. http://media.midwayusa.com/productimages/880x660/Primary/370/370400.jpg

SKS needs 7.62x39mm ammo. You can load it manually or using a clip
Zaphod Feb 16, 2014 @ 1:39pm
And you need to empty it from the box first, I believe. The SKS uses a clip, which is not a snaploader, a speedloader, or a magazine. It makes a difference. But you can manually load it, just not with the "reload" command, unless you have the clip.

Dude. before "fixing" your SKS repair your keyboard. Seem your Caps-key is broken.
