Skateboard to fit in backpack for the roads?

I could see why you would want this and like it but I am not sure the engine could manage this. I very well could be wrong as I am not fully versed on what exactly the DayZ engine is capable of. Other then that if you want to roll around on the road as a big fat target on a board then more power to you.

A long board for cruising? Interesting. Except, it being post apoc scenario, you would need clean, groomed roads to cruise on. Without people there to keep roads, sidewalks, anywhere there was concrete clean, you would stumble over tiny rocks and major cracks in the road. Bikes are a more viable option. A beach cruiser?

Not to mention how difficult it would be to carry weapons, a backpack full of equipment, and other gear while having to balance on a board you -hope- can move under all the extra weight.

Not to mention, you cant really skate in the rain. Grip tape loses its grip when wet. And wheel bearings cant take that kind of punishment. Better yet, lets get all "Prayer of the Rollerboys" up in Chenarus and rock the fruit booters!

They probably add in some kind of car in some months but a skate board would maybe be a little diffrent. And yeah about the physics with destroyed roads and rain, the rain doesnt affect your clothing yet by making it wet but if you swim it gets another text under the "Pristine" or what condition it is saying "Soaked" or "Wet" so physics all in all isnt in the game yet.

Well...you can sprint rather fast...so a skateboard would do no good...unless you can skate faster than you can sprint...

I couldn't agree more. It would be even cooler if you could place bags or packs to store items on the Horse so it could become a source of transportation and inventory. I also like the skate board idea. But, im also not sure if the Horses thing would work because they could only handle 300 animals on a server i believe? Not sure. Anyways, i like both idea's.
