Latency and bandwidth are two different things. Latency(ping) determines the delay between data transfers, while bandwidth is the amount of data transferred.
Someone will likely explain it better than I.
The window shows just shows a number, and I was wondering what the unit of measure such as Mbps or Kbps was...or if it was some other kind of aggregate or derived #?
Example #1: My Bandwidth have gone up when a player is approaching in the distance
Example #2: I can have a constant high bandwidth usage at the airfields and I've scanned the area with the binoculars and have seen nobody (maybe loot is casuing a higher usage?)
I've been to Reddit, and this forum and used Google to search for this and have yet not stumbled upon an exact answer.
So, if someone have more info, please share! :)
The more items you have, the higher your bandwidth as well as the items within your network bubble.
So if you are in the middle of nowhere you will have lower bandwidth than if you are in an area with a bunch of loot that your bubble has loaded.
