Stuck at 'You are Dead' screen, Plz help

The first time I died in DayZ, it took about 15 minutes for the respawn button to finally be accesible, I looked up why this happened, and nobody had the same problem. I died again and now its literally impossible to respawn. I press escape and then I try to press respawn but its darker than all the other buttons. Could someone please help, btw No matter what server I go on this problem is universal.

I have the same problem but I just leave the server and join back again

The only thing that worked for me is to make a new character and click MAKE DEFAULT and it fixed itself.

Alright so its not working for me either.

I've tried:

1. Changing my name
2. Creating new character and setting it as default
3. Deleted my profiles located in My Documents
4. Restarted steam after doing ^ numerous times

Had the same sh!t problem when the patch was in experimental and I didn't even get to test it because of this same thing. Now I can't even play the game at all. Good job dev.

You didn't tried to join one of the servers called : " test server 100% character reset " ?

Nope, and btw I just joined a earlier patch server, and then rejoined a newer one and it was fixed, sorry it took a while to respond

I keep respawning dead or unconcious too. Wasn't that meant to be fixed with that Hotfix yesterday?
