Removing a burlap sack

Hi, I'm new to DayZ, and in my fumbling around with the controls and such i managed to pick up a burlap sack and promptly place it on my head. I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. Needless to say, i'm an idiot, but any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

assuming you cant see your inventory, i think maybe hitting tab and clicking allover the screen and dragging different directions and maybe just maybe you can get it off.

Sure why not?! Just yell directions at me and ill blindly get 'em! lol

@Ellement, i was able to open my inventory, and i tried removing my motorcyle helmet and looking around for something, but nothing seemed to work.

drag it from the right bar, to the left bar

I had to keep equiping and unequiping my helmet to make it appear

I would like to be able to cut holes in the burlap sack and run around with a bag on my head.
