DayZ

Will DayZ Standalone and/or Rust run on my computer?
I currently have an Hp Touchsmart 520 with the following specs:
-Intel(R) core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30 GHz
-4 GB RAM
-Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Operating system
-the exact model number is 520-1030

Will this run Dayz Standalone and/or Rust on any settings?

If not, what computer do you reccomended that will run those games?

Thanks

What kind of graphics card do you have? I dunno bout dayz but rust probably if you got an ok vid card.

Yeah, it will probably run it, but not with the best framerate.
There are TONS of guides to improve your framerate drastically though

If this is a laptop with intergrated graphics, it will most likely not run dayz or even rust for that matter, and if it does the fps will not be good..

How do I figure out what graphics card I have? Yeah you're probably laughing at that haha. No it is an all in one desktop not a laptop if that helps. And what can I do to boost the framerate?

I run dayz on a toshiba L750, very similar, http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ will test ur pc including ur graphics card, just input the name of the game in the field, easy.

Do your research before you post ♥♥♥♥ like this!

Alright I tested my PC and it says that I need more Video specific RAM. How do I increase the amount of RAM available for video processing? Other than that it said that I should be able to run DayZ and Rust on average settings. Any clue on how to increase the Video Specific RAM?

I'm running on my kindle.

just put object quality on very low, and turn off postprocess effects and vsync. aa on normal. everything else you can have on normal or high. do that and you'll be ok with dayz. 100%. assuming you have at least half-decent gpu.

The easiest way to increase your video RAM is upgrade the graphics card (or install one, if you are using integrated graphics).
But it all depends on what you have at the moment. (dxdiag will tell you, if you don't know.)
Also note, you could upgrade the card but then run into a bottleneck somewhere else, probably cpu.
Also (in addition to weedian, and the other comments about the performance guides) try turning rotation blur down, that might help.

Alright are there any ways to boost the Video RAM in any other ways until I get a new card?

you are really not able to figure out gpu model?
